After a career in environmental engineering and science management, I return to my writing roots in this blog and become an international man of no mystery. All comments will be appreciated and likely ignored.
I spent most of my early career in construction-related technical fields, so I was often dealing with ductwork, which can be compared with the circulatory system of the human body. I especially like the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris, where all of the ductwork is on the exterior of the building, emphasizing the vital role it plays in the ongoing life of a building. Ductwork, then, is for me a metaphor for the deliverance of life-giving materials, in this case words, as food for the mind, heart and soul.
My stories drip from my sponge that has been absorbing life for over sixty years.
